About Me
My name is Chloé Osmond. I’m a 21 year old South African woman with a passion for online media production.
I would tentatively describe myself as “alternative”. I don’t often find inspiration in things that are pretty, put-togther, and easily digestible when it comes to music, or style, or ideology. I believe in being genuine about what you love, and acting on what you believe.
I’m a kid at heart, and sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the world; but when it comes time take on the challenges of the adult world, I set my jaw and get ready to prove to myself that I can succeed.
About This Blog
I’ve just entered my 20’s and it’s an odd age to be… All of a sudden we have all this independence, but it feels like we’ve been thrown in the deep end with skills equivalent to a doggie-paddle. This feeling is further emphasised for those of us who feel we don’t quite relate to most grown-ups (or even most people). Young people should be allowed to take pride in their youth, while simultaneously taking on the challenge of their independence with passion and integrity. This blog is NOT about becoming the perfect adult modern society expects us to be; it is about becoming the kind of adult you believe in becoming, and re-imagining what it means to be an adult in a changing world.
